The Notolog Application¶
Important: The Notolog desktop application itself:
- Does not collect any personal data
- Does not send telemetry or analytics
- Stores all data locally on your device
- Supports local-only AI inference (no cloud required when using ONNX or llama.cpp backends)
- Uses AES-128 encryption for sensitive files
Your notes, documents, and AI conversations remain private and under your control.
AI Assistant and Data Privacy
When using local AI backends (ONNX or llama.cpp), all processing occurs on your device - no data is transmitted externally.
When using the OpenAI API backend, your prompts are sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. Review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
